EASY CROCKPOT PUMPKIN CHILI

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 can pinto beans
  • 1 can black beans
  • ½ a yellow onion, diced
  • ½ c frozen corn
  • ⅔ c canned pumpkin
  • 1 can chili ready tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp. garlic
  • 1 tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 tbsp. cumin
  • 1 tsp. red pepper (optional-makes it spicier)
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. black pepper
  • optional: shredded cheese, plain greek yogurt, and tortilla chips
Preparation
  1. In a large fry pan, brown the hamburger (if you want it healthier use ground turkey)
  2. Now that it is browned, place it in the crockpot.
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients to the crockpot, stir them all together.
  4. Cook for 4-6 hrs.
  5. Serve Warm with a sprinkle of cheese, dollop of plain greek yogurt on top and a side tortilla chips (optional)
  6. Enjoy!
