This is one dish I get lots of request for because of the amazing sweet and savory flavors but I have to admit the best part is how simple it is. Enjoy!

- 6 potatoes, peeled and cut into large chunks
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 pound Polish sausage, cut into chunks
- 1 1/2 teaspoons caraway seeds
- 2 bay leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
