Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 tablespoon orange zest
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/4 cups flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, cream butter and sugars together until light and fluff. Add egg, orange zest, and vanilla; beat until fully combined.
- In a separate mixing bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt until no lumps remain. Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and beat until just combined. Use a rubber spatula to fold in white chocolate cihips.
- Drop by rounded tablespoons onto the prepared baking sheets. Bake 11 – 13 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool completely on a wire rack. Repeat with remaining dough.
