Ingredients
1butternut squash, three or four kilos
two pinch Kosher salt
2 pinch black pepper
4 Tbsp salted butter, squeezed
1/3 c honey
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp allspice
Directions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Cut the butternut squash in half and take out seeds.
Score the skillet and put to the parchment paper lined baking sheet.
Sprinkle each half squash with a couple pinches of Kosher pepper and salt.
Mix the melted butter with the honey, cinnamon, and allspice to produce a sauce.
Brush pliers with honey butter sauce. (Wipe any leaks from your parchment paper.)
Place from the oven to 60minutes. After thirty minutes, then brush with the sauce. Then come back to the oven for thirty minutes longer.
Following 60 minutes, assess with a fork to find out if the skillet is tender. When it isn’t done, prepare for an additional 10 to 15 minutes.
Brush once more with the sauce after it comes out. Reserve that the rest of the sauce.
